Allison is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle, and a bachelor of Arts, psychology undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Allison views learning and professional and personal development to be a life long process. She therefore continues her formal education and personal growth through online, and in person workshops, courses, conferences, and frequent trips in nature.

“Although I have experienced loss, grief, life transitions, spiritual exploration, and trauma, I recognize this doesn’t always mean I know exactly what you went through. I’m here to listen and engage in your story with you. Our similarities end with labels. Our diversity begins with our unique experience, and our resilience, dignity, and healing comes from sharing our experiences with another safe and trusted human being. I want you know that it’s ok to take up space.” -Allison
